Cristina Rodríguez Sinovas is an Investigator of the Cardiovascular Research Center (CSIC-ICCC) from January, 2002. She directs the studies that characterize the role of lisil oxidase on the atherosclerotic process. She collaborates in other areas of research including the analysis of COX-2 regulation by lipoproteins and the effect of hypoxia on vascular cell homeostasis, studies directed by Dr Martinez-Gonzalez.

Graduated in Pharmacy for the University of Barcelona (1993), she obtained her PhD. degree in Pharmacy for the same university (UB) in 1998. Her PhD studies were focused on the molecular mechanisms of fibrats.
